Is unbelievable! Today is the first day of year. Where is the hours going?
We said goodbye to 2011, and welcome 2012 with our kids and Kevin’s family. We had a great time.
For me it is always a bittersweet moment when the last and first day of each year meet. It makes me so sad to look back and know all the time I wasted. Always making excuses for what reasons I didn’t do the things I wanted to do for God, things for or with my kids, husband, for myself, and no to mention friends. I don’t want another wasted year. I never make new years resolutions because Im afraid I will fell and not accomplish any of my goals. This year I want to make priority to do many things that will impact my life and my family’s lives. So I made my self a short list of a few things I want to accomplish this year but preferred to get it done in the next month or so.
- The main thing I want to make sure I do; is live my life for God. Surrender completely to Him and make Him the center and main focus of my life.
- I want my kids to fall in love with our Savior. I need to make sure they spend time reading and knowing the Bible.
- Invest more time in the church.
- Have more family time.
- Blog more; at least 3 times a week. (
)
I need to keep my self on check with this first 5 items. Is not much and is only what God commands us to do. (But I struggle with it) At least the blogging is getting done.
It feels good to be back.
Happy 2012 to everybody.
